For the past two years, I've been perfecting my sleep rituals. Two years ago, I was gifted an Oura ring. This ring does everything from tracking my steps to collecting my sleep data and telling me about my blood oxygen levels. I am not a morning person, and after having 8 am classes every Monday - Friday for the past couple of semesters, I decided it was time to find things that made it easier for me to unwind and get a good night's rest. The first thing is a silk pillowcase.

These are good for everything from your hair down to your skin, just make sure you're washing it regularly for hygienic purposes.

Next is a silk eyemask; sleeping in pitch black has allowed me to get deeper and better sleep I feel the positive effects of it as soon as I wake up. It has even helped me sleep in on the weekends, when I can get more rest.

The most shocking new detail I've added to my routine is mouth tape.

Something that started as a trendy thing I saw on TikTok turned into something that helped me with allergies and my sleep quality. Before using mouth tape, I would wake up with a sore throat and even headaches sometimes. I had a hard time fighting the effects of sleeping with my mouth open. Now, I use mouth tape every night and even when to just take naps. All of these things combined have helped me get better quality sleep and be the best version of me during the day, You should try it too.
